Xbox Ultimate Game Pass: F1 2021 is among the new games confirmed for the second half of March 2023

The month of February ended as one of the most surprising for video game lovers and the month of March was not going to be less. As usual, Microsoft has presented the games that will arrive totally free to its Xbox Game Pass service, with a total of 7 that will land on this platform in March 2023. Although the variety is the taste, one of the titles on this list has stood out above the others, since it will be on March 10 that Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will arrive.

What is Xbox Game Pass? How does it work? How much does it cost?

In May 2017, Microsoft announced that the Xbox Game Pass game subscription system would begin to be available from June 1, which includes dozens of Xbox One and Xbox 360 games in exchange for the payment of a monthly fee of €9.99. . This service is completely separate from Microsoft’s online gaming subscription, Xbox Live Gold.

With Xbox Game Pass, players have access to an initial catalog of more than 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 games, of which 40 belong to the current Microsoft console. The company has announced that once the subscription service is launched,  5 games per month will be added to the Xbox Game Pass catalog (some games will be leaving the service).

Games are downloaded directly to your console and are available to play as long as you maintain an active Xbox Game Pass subscription. Therefore the service is not streaming, as is the case with PS Now, PlayStation’s game subscription service. Xbox Game Pass subscribers also get 20% off Xbox One game purchases and 10% off all add-ons.

How many subscribers does Xbox Game Pass currently have?

No one can deny that Microsoft’s service has great opportunities for players, offering a wide variety of games that can be added to the catalog and enjoyed from the first moment. But we didn’t get a sense of its success until Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella shared  Xbox’s quarterly financial results report.

This, it reflects not only that Xbox Live Gold has reached 90 million active subscribers per month, but also that more than 10 million subscriptions have been reached in Xbox Game Pass. Some figures that, they mention, can be reflected in the decision of people to connect with the world through video games.

These good results encourage the company to continue offering exclusive first and third-party content to attract players and, above all, keep those who have decided to trust their service. And although this good news is not reflected in the hardware, that does not make the company lose the good spirits to continue moving forward.
