Oppo Reno 6 Pro, Analysis with user experience

I spent 15 days with the last mobile oppo, the Reno6 Pro. If you have it on your top-of-the-line list, I’ll tell you why and why you shouldn’t buy it. I spent a few days squeezing it and admiring its design, which strikes me as one of the best around.

is Oppo Reno6 Pro is Oppo’s all-in-one for the top-of-the-line Android of 2021. It’s not the most powerful mobile, nor the best camera, but its balance and price make it an option to consider.

Oppo Reno 6 Pro: A design that will make you fall in love

You can do whatever you want but I recommend the Reno6 Pro in Artic Blue. Right out of the box, it’s impossible not to stay awhile staring at it and admiring Oppo’s great design work. Not only is the device very well built and looks sturdy, but the design provides an almost perfect overall.

The camera module, the blue color pattern, the metal frames, and the curved screen make the device amazing. Everything is reinforced by a matt glass back that forgets fingerprints and offers a better grip than polished glass.

The terminal weighs just the right amount (177 grams) and has a very attractive thickness of only 8 millimeters. The curved back and the curved screen make the sides slim and have great ergonomics.

It’s hard to summarize the entire terminal design in a few paragraphs, so I recommend you take a look at it in person. I’m pretty sure not only will you like it, but it’s going to be one of the best-built, best-looking phones you’ve ever had in your hands.

Oppo Reno 6 Pro has lots of power, but not the most powerful

It can’t be said that Oppo put all the meat on the roast with this device’s processor. It doesn’t have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 that other top of line includes to get the best performance of the year: Oppo opted for the Snapdragon 870. It is a more powerful brother of the SD 865 processor which sits between the 865 and the 888.

That’s enough? Yes, if they tell me this device has the Snapdragon 888, I believe them. Its yield is 10 and it can do everything you expect from a premium. It runs any game with high graphics, it’s super fast, and the multitasking account works great. In this performance of 10, they help the Oppo Reno6 Pro has 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

Really, don’t worry about the processor numbers: if you want 10 performance and experience, you don’t need a mobile with the Snapdragon 888. Oppo has done very well in optimizing the device and creating 10 years of experience when it comes to performance.

A camera that will not leave you indifferent

I return to a key point of this Oppo Reno6 Pro that I cannot classify as the best, but which you can enjoy in abundance. The camera on this device is amazing. It’s not the best, but it’s amazing. If you are one of that 95% of users who want to open the camera, shoot, and have really good quality, this Oppo does. And if you want more too.

Your primary sensor will be the one you use the most and 50 MP, an f / 1.8 aperture, and a size of 1 / 1.56 ″. It’s a very good sensor with which I took very interesting photos. You can film in normal mode or with ‘Extra Quality’, a mode in which 50 MP comes into play.

Both inside and out, I realized a very good quality with minimal adjustments. I understand that most users don’t want to touch the settings to improve the photos, so all the example photos are taken in automatic mode.

You will have many more paths than normal photographs because this Oppo has 4 sensors that aim to give more versatility to the shots. You can shoot at Big angles with a dedicated sensor that works great, a macro sensor for fine details, and a telephoto lens that gives the device a key section within the camera.

You don’t want to stop using the x2 optical and x5 hybrid. In good lighting conditions, it is pleasant to use the zoom of this device. Of course, the quality is higher on the x2, although the x5 crops very well and can be very interesting shots. If you usually shoot outdoors you will really like to play with the zoom on this device.

In general, it is a fairly complete camera, with a simple and very complete interface that facilitates quality automatic shooting. These might not be the best photographs, but the behavior of this Oppo Reno6 Pro seemed worthy of the high-end and its price range.

A very bright AMOLED display with 90 Hz corn

We are at the end of 2021 and it creaks a bit that a device of around 700-800 dollars will arrive with a price of 90 Hz cooling. This is exactly what happens with it Oppo Reno6 Pro. The good news is that its panel has amazing quality and if you leave the feature list out, you will have a great experience.

The screen is curved and is distinguished by its brilliance. It is possible to use the terminal outdoors in direct sunlight and maintain a correct display. In addition, the tactile response of the screen is perfect and the 90 Hz smoothes the entire interface. They don’t do as much as the 120 Hz or 144 Hz of other panels, but it’s still better than the 60 Hz.

It is a panel that can be appreciated, with a correct size of 6.55 inches and it is perfect for consuming media content on YouTube or Netflix. Of course, also for games, although the curved edges subtract some immersion depending on the game.

A Standard Battery with fast Charging that makes you fall in love

I’m not a big fan of fast charging over 30W as this, when used daily, can degrade the battery significantly within a few months. Leaving that aside, I loved the 65W of the Oppo Reno6 Pro. That of charging the mobile in 25 minutes is amazing and it’s not something that all the high end of the market has.

Its battery is 4,500 mAh, which, although it may seem modest, offers very good performance. In days of extreme use, I used it up in a few 5.5 or 6 hours of screen, while on other more relaxed days, with a WiFi connection and without much use of the camera, I reached the 7 or 7.5 hours of screen.

It is not a brutal autonomy, but we are facing a thin mobile with 4,500 mAh and a fast charge which in 5 minutes reaches several hours of autonomy. The record is very good and will probably satisfy many users.

If you go for a high-quality range, you have to take this into account

After about 15 days as the main device, I noticed that the Oppo Reno6 Pro is a great phone For which you will not have to pay 1000 dollars. Of course, this device does not want to compete with the mid/high range of 300-400 dollars.

It is an excellent high-end terminal that offers round experiments in almost every aspect and that you can get for around 750-800 euros on Amazon. If you are considering purchasing a premium high-end terminal, I recommend that you rate this Oppo Reno6 Pro as a candidate to be reckoned with.
