How to Repost an Instagram Story? What you need to know
- Tap the paper airplane below the post, then select Add Post to Your Story > Your Story.

How to repost an Instagram story if you’re not tagged
Although there are numerous third-party applications that allow you to repost someone else’s posts on Instagram there is none that supports forwarding of Instagram stories.
However, one way to get around this restriction is to use your device’s screen capture or screen recording features.

The following instructions are for the application of Regrammer for iOS, but each step is pretty much identical to how you would use the app Repost for Instagram on Android.
- open the app Regrammer on your device iOS.
- A message will ask you to give the app permission to access photos on your device. Touch OK.
- The app will ask if you want to receive notifications. This is optional. touch Do not allow or Allow.
- You will be shown a welcome screen with instructions. Tap Skip.
- open the application on Instagram on the same device and find the post you want to repost.
